UMI-Sci-Edu Arouse Interest in the Bett Exhibition Special Seminar

Bett 2017 Exhibition was arranged at ExCell London on 24-28 January 2017. It is one of the very first industry shows of the year and attracts visitors around the globe. This year the exhibition was attended by 34,530 educators and decision makers from 138 countries.

  

Bett offers unique opportunity to experiment with the latest technology, hear from inspirational figures and experts in the industry and meet colleagues working in the same field of education.

University of Helsinki arranged the late afternoon seminar session to the Finnish Bett visitors to introduce the UMI-Sci-Edu Project to them. Altogether 20 participants from six different university training schools around Finland (two from Helsinki, Joensuu, Oulu, Tampere, and Turku) were invited in the special interest group session.

The presentation comprised the general introduction to the Project aims and research methods and detailed introduction about the school pilots. All guests were training school teachers and were very interested in the scenarios. Vivid discussion in small groups continued few hours.
