A workshop for school teachers, aiming at enhancing the impact UMI-Sci-Ed project, has been held in Athens on September the 4th, 2018, during the Pan-Hellenic Scientix Conference for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education.
The workshop has been delivered by Achilles Kameas, Associate Professor at the Hellenic Open University and the school teachers Angeliki Theodosi and Vassilis Kostopoulos. The number of participants exceeded the organizers’ expectations and the 35 school teachers who participated stayed fully engaged during the workshop.
Participants have been familiarized with the use of UMI-Sci-Edopen-source web-based platform that supports all the activities involved in the project.
Moreover, participants had the opportunity to implement the education scenario developed during UMI-Sci-Ed project.
We are looking forward to welcoming in the near future all the 35 participants of the workshop in the UMI-Sci-Ed communities of practice!
